Performance and Design

A Roomy and comfortable design the new 2011 Accord Crosstour near Chicago is available in our Chicago Honda dealer. The Accord Crosstour is wider, longer and taller with four-door hatchback and impressive 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear brakelights blend seamlessly with the Crosstour’s sporty lines.

Engine

The 2011 Accord Crosstour will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 271 horsepower. The Accord Crosstour’s V-6 delivers outstanding performance at any engine speed. And with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), you get the best of both worlds: fuel-efficiency and thrilling acceleration. The 5-speed automatic transmission uses the engine’s broad torque curve for brisk acceleration, optimal fuel efficiency and smooth shifting. The real Tim  4WD system engages when slippage is detected and you need to send power to where there is tire grip. This is a hydraulically actuated system that operates only when front-wheel slippage occurs, helping you through tricky terrain.

Safety

Standard front and side curtain airbags with rollover sensor help reduce the possibilities of injuries in an accident. The driver and the front passenger will active head restraints helping reduce injuries in the rear impact.  Another security feature is the Vehicle Stability Assist that will keep you on course and away from danger. Additionally, it reduces engine power to help restore driver control.
